Q: Hair Loss

Does Migrianes cause hair loss?

Hi Dutchess -

 

I have never heard of Migraines causing hair loss. Several medications which are prescribed as Migraine preventives have hair loss as a possible side effect. Maybe you should look up your medications and see if one of them may be having that effect. You can search the medications on this site and get information about them, including possible side effects.
