Q: What are the potential side effects of just stopping Verapamil versus weaning?
Hi Jacko,
Depending on why you are taking verapamil, like high blood pressure, stopping it suddenly can make your condition worse. If you are taking it for other reasons, like Migraine prevention, please discuss whether or not you need to taper this medication before doing so.
