Friday, October 23, 2009 Migraines for 38 years asks

Q: Not a question, but response about hangover study.

This is actually a response about the hangover study.  I am not questioning the study about migraineurs having more severe hangovers.

I would just like to add that whenever I've had a hangover, the pain that I experience from the hangover headache is nothing compared to the headache pain of a migraine.

Just trying to add some anecdotal input.

Thank you.

The study really wasn't about Migraines and hangovers, but that was the best headline to use without having a headline that was way too long.

Note what the authors of the study said:

"We are currently studying the effects alcohol on the trigeminal neurovascular system which could provide new insights into the pathophysiology of headache induction using a trigger that is known to induce headaches in humans."
