Q: Can frequent use of ibuprofen cause MOH? I take 600-1200mgs 3-5 days/week.

Oh, yes. To avoid MOH, use of ibuprofen should be limited to two or three days a week.

I wondered this too after my headache frequency increased after I started taking 800mg Ibuprofen 3x a day everyday for weeks. According to my Neurologist, this could have been causing MOH. Although it has increased the pain I was taking the Ibuprofen for, I have stopped taking it and some of my headaches have gone away.
