is it safe to take 30mg of methadone daily and midrin?
Hi joseph-
Nobody here can accurately answer this for you. It's not just the methadone and midrin that has to be taken into account. The answer to this question must also consider your medical history and ALL other medications you're taking.
A bit of info for you though -- According to some quick research caution is advised if taking methadone and midrin. They could cause respiratory depression and sedation. ALWAYS check with your doctor and/or pharmacist first when you have questions about your medications and doses.
Good luck
Nancy
I've been on midrin for years and I also have been on a variety of narcotic pain meds over the last 12 years including methadone, morphine, & oxycontin in large dosages due to severe pain from a chronic disease. You certainly want to take precautions, especially in the beginning, until you are used to the side effects such as dizziness, sleepiness, clumsiness, shallow breathing, slow heart rate, blurred vision & slurred speech just to name a few. I wouldn't recommend driving, using heavy machinery or anything that requires full alertness. You can find more info on each medication if you research them online.
I hope this helps! Feel better, OK?
