Q: Morning MIgraines

Any suggestions for migraines that you wake up with in the morning?  Every morning I wake up with a migraine in the 7-9 intesity zone.  It makes no difference how long I sleep or whether or not I had a headache when I went to bed.  I am seeing a specialist but wanted to know what other sufferers had to say about this issue.  I am so frustrated with the fact that I wake up hurting every day.

Pengiuns.

The most common reason for waking with a Migraine is some type of sleep problem. Too much, too little, off schedule, interrupted, or poor quality sleep can all be Migraine triggers. Many of us think we're getting good, restorative sleep when we're really not. Have you ever discussed your sleep with your doctor?

My neurologist mentioned to me that if you wake up w/ a migraine it can be related to sleep apnea, and suggessted a sleep study. hope this helps
