    itsallinmyhead,

Absolutely, many of us experience constipation during out Migraines.

Constipation is a well established possible symptom of a Migraine attack. It can start during the prodrome phase of the Migraine, up to a couple of days before the headache phase begins.

Take a look at Migraine Prodrome - 14 Symptoms for more information.

While we're "talking," I also want to welcome you and tell you a bit about our site...

In the upper right-hand corner of our home page, you’ll see a “My Home” button. Clicking on it will take you to your personal home page, where you can do many things, including creating SharePosts. SharePosts are a form of blogging, and there are many things you can do with them. You can share an experience, suggest something that's helped you, use SharePosts as a Migraine and headache journal, and many other things.

We also have a discussion forum that you may want to check out. Especially if you have questions or are looking for information, you may find the interaction on the forum to be quite helpful. To get to the forum, just look for the orange box marked "Manage" and click on the Migraine Forums link. Because our forums are maintained by a third party, you'll need to register for the forum. You can use the same information you used to create your community log-in if you like. If you want to go directly to the forum, you can click HERE. Please note that you’ll need to register again separately for the forum, but you can use the same email address and password that you used for the main site if you wish.

Along with your personal "My Home" page and the discussion forum, you'll find links to a great deal of helpful information on the main page of our site, http://www.HealthCentral.com/Migraine. One of the best ways to keep up with new information on our site is to subscribe to our newsletter. You can do that by clicking the green “Free Newsletter” button in the left column of our main page.

Do you have questions about Migraine? There are three ways to get answers – through our Ask the Clinician column, in our community Question and Answer Section, or through our forum.  Just go to our Migraine Answers page HERE.

Our email newsletter will help you stay up-to-date on Migraine and headache news and new information published on MyMigraineConnection. To receive our newsletter, click the “Sign up now!” link in the navigation bar across the top of our site pages or simply click HERE. If you’re interested, I also publish my own free weekly newsletter with links to information on HealthCentral and other sites. You can subscribe to it HERE.

Educating ourselves about Migraine disease and other headache disorders is one of our best tools to gaining control of them and improving our quality of life. Here are some links that will be helpful to you:

I knew of two people in my past, and the one thing that helped them was to have a good BM. Taking a suppository or whatever to relieve the constipation. Hope this helps. READ MORE
