Q: Why do I keep getting headaches and I have been reffered to an emergency specialist?
Hi, I have been waking up with terrible headaches for the last couple of weeks. They seem to go gradually through out the day but the pain is considerable in the mornings. Sometimes my back is in discomfort also and my eyes and face occasionly ache like synus pains. I have been drinking plenty of water so I don't think dehydration is an issue. I went to the doctor yesterday and he shone a torch into my eyes and told me there was clouding around the discs at the back of my eyes. He decided to refer me to an emergency specialist within 2 wks and seemed concerned but didnt say much. I asked him of it could be brain related which he replied it could be. I'm really worried it could be some kind of tumour after the way he reacted but he didn't tell me what he thought it might be. Can anyone shed any light on this please? If its a serious symptom I would rather just know than wait around 2 weeks waiting. Thanks
