I have a lot of different migraine triggers...weather, hormones, heat - and low blood sugar is definitely one of them. I always try to eat protien and drink plenty of water when I start to feel the prodrome. Sometimes I can stop it and sometimes it's too late. I've been keeping stocked on eggs since they are easy and take little time to make.
