Q: Frova for menstrual migraine

Has anyone tried Frova for Mestraul migraine?  My daughter can't take triptans they make her very sick, I'm not sure if Frova is a triptan.  Nothing short of hormone therapy seems to work for her migraines and I would prefer not to mess with her hormones if I can help it.

Hi Shirley,

Frova is a triptan which is taken to abort a Migraine. There have been some studies done with Frova and menstrual Migraine: Prevention of menstrual Migraines?

I hope these links help,
