I work in a restaurant. My manager, the top dog, put oil burning candles on all the tables. Every day that I have worked since, I've left with a migraine. She refuses to change the candles. What can I do?

Hmm, wonder if OSHA has regs on scented candles(:
Um...I would call a disabilty atty since providing someone with an unhealthy enviroment has to be a violation of the discrimination against people with disabilties act. And, if you get fired because of having to call in sick or whatever remember to collect unemployement, maybe even sue, & get a job with a place that cares about their employees.
I had a once a wk job when I was still able to work a little as a private duty nurse where the patients family used plug-in's & air freshener. I'd call the night before my shift...they's unplug them. Also, they'd avoid perfume & spray while I was there or I'd be forced to go home. They tried, but I still had to quit when my headache became worse because the house still holds that fragrance. Of course, I did not sue or anything...they cared & did try.
