Hi Mommy3,

I'm sorry you are having trouble now. Is the doctor who did the shunt any help? Depending where you are in the country you may have to seek out a specialist who deals with IIH. Have you seen a neuro ophthamologist? Or Migraine specialist?

We have some information on IIH I can share with you:

Headache Attributed to Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension - The Basics and

Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) - The Basics.

And since you're going through a rough time now, if you'd like some additional support, come join our discussion forum. You'll need to register again once there because it's a separate membership database, but you can use the same member name, email address, and password that you used here. You can find our forum at http://forums.healthcentral.com/discussion/migraine/forums.

Good luck

Nancy
