Q: Magnesium and migraines

I see a lot of ads stating that Magnesium is a potential "cure" for migraines. Are there any real studies proving that this does work?

Denise,

As you well know, there is no cure.

Supplemental magnesium is helpful for Migraine prevention for some people. Doctors don't yet agree on which type of magnesiuum is best or on the dosage. It's definitely worthh discussing with your doctor.
