Q: I had deviated septum surgery I have no more migraine headaches but I have scintillations and nausea

I had surgery to repair a severly deviated septum and sinuses. Since the surgery I have not had a migraine headache but I still have the flashing lights, nausea, fatigue, stiffness in my neck and shoulders. Is this common to have the pre symptoms w/out the headache.

Hi Lillian!

It sounds like you could be experiencing Acephalgic or Silent Migraine. Whith this type of Migraine, you can still get all the symptoms of Migraine, but without the head pain. Any type of Migraine can be acephalgic.

Hope this helps!
