Doctors for years have theorized that migraines are associated with abnormal body core temperatures. The thought is that vessels in the brain become dilated and diffuse causing blood to exert pressure on the brain creating the auras and pain that many migraine sufferers exhibit. Low or high body core temperatures are a contributing factor. If you can thermoregulate (normalize) body core temperature many symptoms including migraines may simply disappear or be significantly reduced in both severity and frequency. Currently the standard of care includes some form of medicated treatment protocol that may include over-the-counter and prescription medications, and/or hormone treatment therapies. These all carry risks and sometimes significant cost and side effects and may not be effective in treating the condition.   Luckily, today there is a new non-invasive technology that will rapidly regulate body core temperature without the use of medications, hormones, or other invasive methods. The device and the technology powering the device is sold by a company called AVACEN. The device is multi-patented, has been cleared for distribution by the FDA, and is supported by clinical studies and performance lab tests.
