I am not certain if going from the cold to the heat can trigger a migraine, but I know that one of my triggers is elevated body temperature.  I can't take baths that are very hot, and I can't stand hot tubs.  Also, if I ever run a fever, I am in big trouble, usually ending up at the ER for IV meds.  This my experience with elevated body temp.  Migraines are so unexplainable at times, and it could be that for your daughter, a trigger is drastic changes in body temperature.  I hope this helps somewhat.
