A doctor in Phoenix told me the average person walks around alread 15% dehydrated. Add medications to that, vomiting, and anti nausea drugs and it's even higher. That m be the reason for the thirst. By the time you're thirsy, you are already dehydrated. When I feel a migraine coming on, I immediately start drinking more liquids and eating salty food.
