Hi llona, Some preventive treatments for Hemiplegic Migraine are lamictal acetazolimide (diamox) and topamax and especially verapamil seems to work well for some people. To find a Migraine specialist who has experience treating people with Hemiplegic Migraine, I would make some phone calls to our list of patient recommended specialists in MI.
