Q: Weird Head Pain

Last year when I was pregnant there were a few times that I would get a headache around the same spot (on my left side above my temple/ear area. They went away for good and have not had a headache or symptoms since. Now that I am pregnant again, I have no headaches, but only a 2 second pain when I sneeze in that same area. No other symptoms. I have been sneezing a lot more lately.. as in allergies or something. Is this sinus or pregnancy related or something I need to see a doctor for?   I should add that the pain does not happen when I cough, bend down, strain, exercise etc.. ONLY sneezing. Also, I had a CT scan in Dec 2007 because of an episode of Migraines I had that have gone away since and all was perfect on the scan. Thanks!

Hi, Jen,

Really, the only person who can safely answer this is your doctor. Statistically, it's unlikely to be anything serious, but that's really not a chance you want to take. So, give your doctor a call, and let us know how things go?

Good luck,

Teri
