Hi Stacy,
Always follow the doctors instructions on the presciption bottle. For instance, mine says 1/2 tordol in am and I use a pill splitter to cut my pill in half. You can find one of these at your pharmacy or big box stores.
Checking with the doctor making sure the dose is right for you is always a good idea if you are uncertain about it.
