My first real experience with chronic head pain...

Friday, August 15, 2008

Hi Terri,

Midrin contains acetaminophen - a pain reliever and fever reducer, dichloralphenazone - a sedative relieving pain and causing relaxation and isometheptene is a compound that constricts blood vessels.

So I'm not sure why a false positive would occur if Midrin doesn't contain amphetamines. A call to your pharmacist may help answer this question.

Good luck

Nancy

This animation shows one of the key causes of pain during a migraine--changes to the blood flow within the brain.
