midrin and false positive saliva for amphetamines
has anyone ever have false positive saliva tests for amphetamines. I know it occurs in UA tests
Hi Terri,
Midrin contains acetaminophen - a pain reliever and fever reducer, dichloralphenazone - a sedative relieving pain and causing relaxation and isometheptene is a compound that constricts blood vessels.
So I'm not sure why a false positive would occur if Midrin doesn't contain amphetamines. A call to your pharmacist may help answer this question.
Good luck
Nancy
