Q: Has anyone heard of or better still had the migraine surgery consisting of removal of the corugator muscle relieving pressure off the trigeminal nerve in the forehead?

Hello, Lauren,

I've heard of the surgery, but haven't had it. We do have an article here on the site that reviews some data about the surgery. You might want to take a look at  it - Plastic Surgery For Migraines? Maybe.

Whatever you decide to do, just remember that Migraine is a genetic neurological disease for which, at this time, there is no cure. There are some surgical options, but none of them address every trigger, and none of them can "cure" us.
