Today I saw an advertisement on television for a clinical study for teens suffering from migraines. Have any of you participated in any such studies? I am looking for any feed back any of you may have.
Thank You

Hi,
We have a few links you may find helpful on our Clinical Trial page HERE. If I were looking for a clincial trial these are the only sites I would check into.
Another thought would be a Migraine specialist. This doctor is an expert in one area - Migraine and headache disorders. Neurologists may be fine doctors but treat so many different conditions like MS, stroke, Parkinsons and epilepsey it is hard for them to concentrate in one area. Think of it like this: when your the pipe under your kitchen sink breaks you call a plumber, the expert, to fix it. You could call a handyman who fixes lots of things, but an expert is who you want. A Migraine specialist is who you want for your teen. We have a list of patient recommended doctors youc an see HERE.
Good luck
Nancy
Hi Zack's mom - my question linked me to your question - I am curious about clinical trials as well. My 13 year old boy has been increasingly bad with migraines. Neuro just put him on propanalol and we are waiting on new catscan and blood work. Long story short - neuro said if relief doesn't come after a while on prop. she wants to look into deeper specialists. She mentioned Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Anyhoo - I see you have a teen sufferer and wanted to connect!
