Q: Can anyone recommend a migraine specialist in the Durham/Chapel Hill area of North Carolina?

NC is not on your list. My 32 yr. old daughter is suffering terribly. Her migraines have become much more frequent, and currently she has had one for the last 5 days. They are interfering with her ability to work. We are desperate to find help. How do we find a neurologist that specializes in migraines in our area?

We count on patients to recommend the doctors listed on our site, and at this point, nobody in North Carolina is recommended by any of our readers. Sorry. L

If you can't find someone in a neighboring state on our list, there are a couple of places you can check:

Something to keep in mind as you look for a doctor is that neurologists aren't necessarily Migraine specialist, and Migraine specialist aren't necessarily neurologists.

I hope this helps you and your daughter,

Teri
