Q: Does anyone else get motion sickness just from walking?

I do.  When I look down at the ground in front of me, I start feeling nauseous and dizzy.  When I realize what's happening, I look up ahead at the horizon and hope I don't trip over anything.  Sometimes that helps after a little while, but other times I have to sit still for a while to feel better.  I also can't wear parka hoods anymore, for the same reason.  It felt like my head was bouncing around in there, and the conflicting motions and the noise triggered that nauseous feeling and sometimes a full migraine.  Should I be concerned about other neurological or inner ear problems?  I've never had a brain scan.

If you haven't already reported these symptoms to your doctor, it might be wise to do so, so they can give you a thorough neurological exam.

I've gone through periods where dizziness and motion sickness have been the most acute symptoms of my migraine attacks. Not fun. Any form of movement, walking, driving, even standing, makes me feel sick to my stomach. When this happens, the only thing that helps is sitting or lying still as much as I can.
