Q: I found the article concerning aromatherapy interesting.

I would like to try aromatherapy. Where can I get the oils? I would prefer to mix my own. I have allergies to perfumes but I know that I can tolerate apricot, coconut. Are there others that have a lighter fragrance than others?

Marcia,

I'm SO sorry! I meant to put a link to my favorite place for essential oils and other aromatherapy supplies, but forgot. I can't find much where I live, so I order online. My favorite site to order from is Nature's Gift at www.naturesgift.com. High quality, good prices, and great service. You can email them with questions before ordering if you want.

The thing with aromatherapy is to look at the healing properties of the different oils. There's a chart with suggestions in the article, but there are many other oils. You can find descriptions of them at Nature's Gift.

What symptoms are you trying to relieve? Conentrated essential oils tend to be a bit strong, but to use them, you dilute them in carrier oils. You might try wearing a mask when working with the full strength oils.

Hope this helps!
Teri
