Q: Does apple cider vinegar help prevent or cure migraine?

Does apple cider vinegar help to prevent or cure migraine? Is it safe to try taking the pills? If so where can i order pills online which are of good quality?

Other than the occasional person who posts here and says vinegar helps them, I can find no proof of this. There is nothing in any of the medical literature. Also, Migraine is a genetic neurological disease. Neither vinegar nor anything else we know of at this time can cure it.


Is it safe? I don't know. It's certainly acidic. I wouldn't try it without talking with my doctor first.

I tried this for about 4 months. All I got for my trouble was indigestion. Didn't change my migraines at all. Frown

It depends on what kinds you get.  Raw apple cider vinegar with the "mother" is your best bet. i would do the straight liquid if you can tolerate it.  It's correct that you can't "cure" a migraine, but there are things that can help get rid of the pain.  Raw apple cider vinegar may be able to do that for you, give it a shot!
