Q: Can anyone suggest an effective brand of feverfew available in U.S?

Can anyone please suggest a good brand of feverfew that has been effective for them, available in the U.S? I have been using Boots feverfew from U.K for a few years now.i wanted to switch to a U.S. brand and tried MIGRELIEF which did not work and i suffered terrible feverfew withdrawal headaches. So,i'd really appreciate if someone using an effective brand can recommend it for me.

Thank you

Jay

Hi Jay,

We've see both buterbur and feverfew be very effective for some people. I wanted to remind everyone though that it's important to talk to your doctor before taking any supplements, whether you take other meds or not. Supplements have much less stringent regulations, and I've see supplements on sites that give you not information about potential side effects.

Iherb.com has some good prices on supplements and is a good site that Teri and quite a few other members get their supplements from.

(An especially important note on feverfew is that it's not recommended for anyone who is or might become pregnant because it can cause miscarriage.)

Good luck

Nancy
