Continual aura sympoms for three weeks ?

Please help, I have had continual aura symptoms ever since I had an unusually agressive migraine about three weeks ago. My aura sympoms are usually very typical, they come and go within an hour. This particular migraine came on in an instant and instead of one aura coming and going, there was  approx fifteen  within a couple of hours. I still have a black or blurred spot to the left of my field of vision now. I saw my gp but he doesn`t seem to understand what I am talking about and suggested I should get an eye test. Any advice would be most welcome.

Hi Jase,

Most aura symptoms end after the headache phase. This last phase, called postdrome, usually can have fatigue, confusion, achiness and cognitive difficulty as symptoms and may last for up to two days.

An eye exam by an ophtmalogist may be a good idea to rule out any problems with your vision.

Good luck
