The right side of my head is tender to touch, and my head feels like it wants to burst. This has been going on for a while. What could it be?
You do seem to have symptoms that are similar to those from a migraine, as some of our community members have pointed out. However, the tenderness to the touch could very well indicate other conditions. I am not a doctor and can't diagnose you, so I would suggest you see a physician to discuss your pain. If it has been going on for a while, I think it is important to see it addressed as soon as possible.
Please let us know how you are doing and what the doctor says.
Best of Luck,
Alos, here is a bit of reading that might help you understand what is going on:

Hi , I get the same thing when I have my migraines. Its completely painful and worse when you cant even touch it to try and relieve the pain. As for tyour head feeling like its gonna burst it may be a migraine, I didnt know I had them until I went to the doctor. You should definitely talk to your doctor because you should never play around when it comes to your head. I do hope you feel better though because I understand your pain.
