Hi IKB and everyone,
Yes I have experienced itchiness all over my body using the medication "Butorphanol" (Brand Name Stadol) for the pain of Miagraine headaches which I have had snece I was 17 years old, now at the age of 56 I have been using this medication for almost 10 years with great success at taming the pain of my headaches. it is a very strong pain reliever but there are some side effects and one of them is the itchiness, but the relief it bring is worth the itch.

Hi Ikb,
Yes, I have experienced severe itching when I was given Imotrex through an IV at the hospital. The doctor described it as a feeling of crawling out of your skin, and said it was an asystolic reaction. I have not used Imotrex since that time, but use Maxalt very succesfully. Hope this helps!

Hey IKB,
Yes, I have experienced itching while on Imitrex. No matter what form it's in. I got it with the pill, the shot, and through an IV when I was at the hospital. Unfortunately, Imitrex no longer works for me, so, my doctor recently switched me to Relpax. I get the same effect from that too. Hope this helps.

Hi, I am having a problem right now. I have been on imitrex for many years and it has worked pretty well. About 2 months ago, I developed a rash that spread and was very itchy. I felt also as if I was getting a urinary tract infection and my skin felt as if it was crawling up my back. I was put on steroids and steroid cream. It seemed to help but, as soon as I was off. I would get the worst migraine headaches and the rash would return. I'm thinking that somehow I have become toxic with the imitrex. Now I don't know what medicine to take for the migraines? Any ideas?
