I started taking topamax 2 months ago. I was supposed to go to 50 mg after a couple of weeks, but I wanted to take my time and get over the side effects, but my hair starting falling out, I have a swollen eye from severe dry eye, (been to eye dr), and a nose bleed from dry nose. My migraines have gotten better but I feel like I need to get off this medication. I can't see my doctor until next week. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Maxi,

I'm sorry, but we can't answer this. Doing so would be giving medical adivce, something we can't do.

How about calling your doctor's office and getting someone to ask him or her if you can stop taking it?

Good luck,

Teri
