when i get a migrain I lose vision in the left eye. Does anyone else? What do you do?

Hi Lisa S,
For purposes of treatment, learning about your Migraines, being able to get care if you're away from home, etc., you need a full diagnosis of what type of Migraine you have. You can read more about this in The Type of Migraine Does Matter.
Partial loss with a Migraine attack may happen, but not total vision loss. This needs to be discussed with your doctor. You may also want to take a look at this article and talk to your doctor about it: Retinal Migraine - The Basics.
If your doctor isn't able to help you, it may well be time to consult a Migraine and headache specialist. Yes i loose vision on the side of my migraine, can be either side for me, can be very frightening but comes back when my headache comes on
