Topics:migraine seizures

hi there, I'm a 27 yr old female. I started getting migraines when i was around 21 yrs old. I recently collapsed and had a seizure after having a migraine, with neck and shoulder pain, for the previous 4 days. I was in hospital for a week and my CAT scan came back clear. the doctors did not know what caused this episode. That was 2 months ago and ive continued to have simular but not as severe seizures since.

any information would be greatly appreciated.

Have had migraines since the age of ten. Strong genetic influence

My migraines are a bit unusual in that I've had them for so many...

Hi, I also have had a seizure followed by migraine and tests showed nothing unusual.  If you're not under the care of a neurologist already, then you really should be.  No two migraine sufferers' symptoms are identical, but talking with others I have discovered that many, like myself, have cold hands and feet, even full body chills with the headaches.  Also experience mild to moderate chest pain and sometimes irregular hearbeat(briefly).  Try not to be frightened and put yourself under reputable medical care.
