Q: should i be lightheaded and dizzy right after the migraine pain has dissapeared?

I also find it hard to spell words correct and read correct words.  I'm not sure if I should be getting medical attention for this.  thank you for the help.

Cloudymama i agree with Jasmine that you should get medical attention. It is alwasy best to let your doctor know aobut any changes in your Migraine pattern. It is not unusual to have cognitive difficulties during Migriane, and that can continue after the ehad pain has passed.

Hi cloudymama,

Is this a change from your normal Migraine pattern? Have you experienced these symptoms before? If not, it is always a good idea to let your doctor know about new and/or different symptoms with a Migraine attack.

Postdrome, the last phase of a Migraine attack, can occur up to 24 hours after a Migraine. Some  symptoms may include but are not limited to: extreme happiness or feeling depressed, hung over, fatigue, trouble concentrating, focusing and even issues with understanding simple directions.  For more information on the four phases of a Migraine attack continue reading Anatomy of a Migraine

Good luck

Nancy
