Q: I have what has been diagnosed as Cluster Headaches that start around the last of June and leave the last of December.

They come and go every three years.

This has been going on since 1993. At there peak, September, they occur three of 4 times a day. I can control them with medication, but am not allowed to take the medication over 18 times in a month. Do you have any answer as to why they come and go like clock work, every three year?

Hi Loren,

I don't believe at this time they do have any answers on the regularity of some people's cluster headaches. Yours certainly sound very regular. Have you tried Zomig for your cluster headache? Here is some information on that: Zomig Nasal Spray Found Effective for Cluster Headaches.

O.U.C.H. is a great website specfically for "clusterheads" you may want to check out.

Good luck

Nancy
