Is safe to take Fioricet during pregnancy?

The FDA has categorized Fioricet as preganancy category C. That means that there are either no adequate studies, either animal or human, or there are adverse fetal effects in animal studies but no available human data. Many medications pregnant women use fall into this category. You and your doctor need to compare the possible risks to the possible benefits and make a decision on this.
