Q: Can migraines along with the meds you take, cause fluid to form in the Breast?

I am experiencing having fluid in my right breast and it seems to build up along the time a migraine is going on. I take Imitrex for the migraines and Benicar for my high blood pressure. I had a mammogram and an ultro sound last week and everything came back fine. I'm wondering if everything going on with my headaches is causing the fluid to form in my breast. I am 57 years and had a total hist. in 1998. What do you think?

Ruth,

We've never heard of anything like this before. Are your Migraines hormonally triggered? If so, maybe the fluid is hormone related? If you haven't already, call the doctor who prescribes your Migraine meds and see what his or her thoughts are.

Sorry we don't have more information.

Good luck,

Teri
