When I dance a lot in one evening and turn many times I get a migraine.

In the beginning I wasn't sure most of my dancing nights were causing a migraine.  I'd wait till the next day and then when I was realizing I was having a migraine I'd take imitrex and it would take two sprays that day and maybe one the next day, but for most of the first day I'd feel lousy, not feeling like I could think well, and kinda sick.

Now, when I dance and come home and feel my nose stopping up (like they say, a sinus thing) I immediately do the imitrex spray 20mg, or if I haven't danced a lot and not turned a lot I take a imitrex pill 100mg.  My long dancing night may be 2 - 21/2 hours and short dancing 1 - 1 1/4 hours.  I don't know what to do to stop the migraines.  I have started Feverfew and Butterbur thinking they would help.  I've been taking them 1 1/2 months, but don't think it has done anything for my migraines.  I've thought about taking a daily pill to see if that would help but don't know if I should.  I hate having to take, maybe 3 sprays a week as I do dance a lot.  I love the dancing and know it is so good for my health.  Do you have any ideas of what I should do to stop the migraines other than stop the dancing?

Thank you.

P.S.  I can't drink more than 1/3 cup of red wine, can't eat more than 20 small wheat crackers, can't get too stressed or I start a migraine.

I sure wish I had the answer.  I loved playing tennis, and was becoming pretty good at it but had to quit due to exertion headaches.  My head starts pounding and I feel a rush of heat pulsing through my brain.  The pressure is so great I can't take anything for it, and just have to sleep it off.

I am really curious to hear what others have to say because having to stop doing what you love is very difficult.
