Keren,

I'm not sure what you mean by "focal Migraine."

Research on white matter lesions among Migraineurs is relatively new, but is building. Researchers are finding these lesions, so far, to not be causing any symptoms, but they feel that such lesions point toward Migraine being a progressive brain disease.

Nothing I've found indicates that the lesions are dangerous, but they are reason to do our best to manage Migraine disease by preventing as many Migraines as possible and treating those we do get as quickly and effectively as possible.

Here's an article about white matter lesions -- Is Migraine a Progressive Brain Disease?

Talk with your doctor about these lesions. It will be helpful to find out more about how this all applies to you specifically.
