Many Migraineurs I know are having a difficult "summer." How old is your son? You may want to consider having your son see a Migraine specialist before his Migraines get too far out of control.
Last November at the American Headache Society Headache conference, Dr. Paul Winner, a pediatric Migraine specialist said that adolescent episodic Migraine can transform to chronic Migraine fairly quickly. Just something to keep in mind.
If your doctor isn't able to help you, it may well be time to consult a Migraine and headache specialist. It's important to note that neurologists aren't necessarily Migraine and headache specialists. Take a look at the article Migraine and Headache Specialists - What's So Special?
