Q: i am on 25mg of sertraline daily for panic attacks .i had a seizure and the hospital have put me on 500mg of keppra twice daily is it ok to take both drugs together

i have queried this with my doctor but she says this is ok i am not convinced as the pharmacist queried this with me, i cut my sertraline down gradually over 4 months to half a dosage but last week i had panic attack so my doctor has told me to go back to my original dose ,i am not convinced .

Chris,

 

I don't know why your pharmacist questioned this, especially when your doctor says it's OK. I found no interactions listed when I checked a drug interactions checker.
