Q: What would happen if you took migraine medicine without the migraine?

I may have accidentally took migraine pills instead of another medicine. Could the migraine medicine hurt me in anyway way if I don't have a migraine at the time?

If the medication was prescribed for you, it probably won't hurt anything. The other issue is whatever medication you missed taking. Depending on the medication, it could be harmful to possibly take a second dose.

When something of this nature happens, it's a good idea to call your doctor or pharmacist. They can give you a more definitive answer because they know you and your medical history.
