Q: should diabetic take zomig for migraines

Hi Carrie,

 

This is a conversation to be had with your doctor or pharmacist.

 

I can tell you zomig is a triptan that aborts a Migraine attack.

There are no documented contraindications to people with diabetes taking triptan medications such as Zomig. That said, everyone's body reacts differently. Be sure that all doctors you see are awared of your entire medical history.
