how can i fight back against e.r. doctors who make you feel worse. i have a 28 year battle with the migraine demons. i see a nuerologist regularly yet sometimes i need to go to the e.r. for medications. i am then treated badly and talked to as if i was a junkie or something. i have had all the tests and am taking daily medications to try and lessen  my headaches. i have read thier posters that say "everyone has the rifgt to have thier pain controlled" ha ha! have they read it? i thought doctors took an oath to do no harm. there ought to be a way to force them to deal with us. if they had ever experienced the pain maybe they would be a little more sympathetic. let me know of any solutions to this problem. thank you and god bless.

Hi pattiofozad,

We have some forms that may help you. You and your doctor can fill them out before your next trip to the ER so there will be less confusion, less mis-communication, and better care for you.
