Q: non-aspirin, over the counter, migraine medication

any over the counter migraine medication without aspirin? I was once diagnosed with migraines, but turned out to be a colloid cyst in my brain. It's been 5 years since my surgery and I've been getting really bad headaches the last few days. Most of the pain is on the left side of my head, but ends up hurting all over. The light seems to make it worse. I've been taking a lot of ibuprofen and it is really not working for me. Tylenol never works and my stomach can't handle the smallest dose of aspirin.

Hi Tara, This is something you need to discuss with your doctor and/or pharmacist. NSAIDS - nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs - don't contain aspirin, and tylenol is aspirin free. Gel-Stat is an OTC, but I'm not sure if it doesn't have aspirin or not. Good luck Nancy Reply
