Hey Karen,   I had my first nerve block injections 3 weeks ago. My doctor recommended doing them every two weeks for 3 sessions. I didn't really get relief from them, but that is why they recommend doing them on 3 separate occassions (for longer results)   I actually went through a big ordeal of ER trips this week because I physically felt the blocks wearing off - which led to a very bad migraine. I don't think that this happens to most people who recieve the blocks though. Everything I read prior to the injections was very positive. You can't know how long they will last until you try b/c it's different for everyone.   Also - I thought that it would just be one injection. I actually recieved 8 separate injections in my head, neck and shoulders. It's not too painful (not for anyone who knows the pain of regular migraines)   I'm debating whether or not to go back for more (following my doc's advice). I would say that there's not much to lose and everything to gain. I'm glad I tried them even though I don't think they worked. One more thing to cross of the list of solutions.
