Hi trish,
Hair loss, while not common, is a potential side effect of taking some antiseizure medications, including Topamax.
Are you getting relief from Topamax? If you are seeing a reduction in your Migraine frequency and severity while taking topamax, but having bothersome unwanted side effects, you may have to rethink Topamax. It can take up to three months for medication to work, during that time we can even see some potential side effects lessen.
