Rehanna,

You're going to have to see a doctor about your Migraines. There are medications that can be taken to stop Migraines, and there are very good medications that you can take when a Migraine starts to stop the vomiting.

I'm not very familiar with which medications are available in your country, but I'm sure sumatriptan (brand name Imitrex or Imigran) is available. It's a triptan medication. It actually works in the brain to stop the Migraine process and Migraine symptoms. I think promethazine is available there too, and it's a good medication to take for nausea and vomiting. These are medications you can discuss with your doctor.

I hope this helps you,

Teri

I would defiantly recommend that you see a doc. I take maxolt and  a pain med  and take Ondanstetron- a nausea med that does not knock  you out like like promethizine. Although I have reconsidered that because it knocks you out. I have a allot of confusion also. I am just know checking out info (finally) about mi grains. Boy that has helped co much. It is so nice to know that it is neurological disease. That is making me take my mi grains more seriously , That and so damn tired of migraines running my life. so am checking out things like food. Pooh no chocolate for me or sushi. It is so helpful to see others confused like I am, I do not feel so alone. :)

This animation shows one of the key causes of pain during a migraine--changes to the blood flow within the brain.
