Hi txgirl,
I don't think a "bad tooth" causes a sinus infection, rather a bateria, virus and/or fungi would. But a sinus infection can cause a toothache and headache.
Have you seen your dentist about your tooth? Or spoken with your doctor about your sinsus?
Migraine pain can also cause our teeth to ache, sinsus to hurt and of course our heads to hurt. Take a look at this article: Sinuses Giving You a Headache: It's Probably a Migraine and Migraine or Sinus Headache: Misdiagnosis.
I hope this helps,
Happy Holidays
Nancy
